Default Help!!!

just put in banebot motors and a sidewinder esc. i did the quick program that is in the book. the problem is when i pull the throttle the truck just sits there and rocks back and forth about a half inch back and forth. reverse does the same thing. the steering works just fine. what could be causing this? i am stumped and bummed about this.

did you pick it up and see if it will move with no weight on the wheels?
some pics of your set up might help
