Default Sand Climber

I have recently bought a cliff climber and took it to the beach for some sand crawling. It does pretty good stock until you try to go up a hill. I was thinking of using a different chassis and bigger motors. Can you fit a 1/10th scale motors on the axles? Or i could scrap the axles and use ones that use drive shafts. what do you guys think

What are you wanting to do, go faster? If so then there are many options out there. One would be a Duratrax VR3 motor swap. Same size as stock motors but much faster. Running those motors and some paddle tires would make a fun beach blaster I bet.
