Default My esc wont work?

I read the instructions and it said, when i hit the gas or braked the LED is suppose to flash when i hit it.

Yet my truck wont move, not will the LED flash.

Check to make sure the switch is on, if it is, cut the switch off and twist the wires together, your switch might be bad from the factory. I have had a few different ESC's with bad power switches right out of the box. I usually cut them right off now.

Yes it turns on, the green light will turn on, but when throttle/brake is applied, nothing happens.

Could really use some help here please. this is new and i cant use it

I only have steering if i plug a battery into the reciever. if otherwise no steering.

I would call Duratrax, you have a bum ESC and if I know Duratrax, they will take care of you. They have THE BEST Customer Service right next to Traxxas. I had a rear motor shit out on mine and they sent one right out and my sons is starting to make funky noises now too and I know it only takes a phone call and I will have a replacement for that as well. They don't even bother to have you send the old one in, they just send replacements right out.

yet it seems to connect me to another hobby place.
