Default clod stall fix?

WHY!?!?!?

Is there a way to defeat it? Higher turn motors maybe or is it just an inherent MOA flaw?
Also, why is the caster set so poorly out of the box?

I don't drive moa, but from what I have read it is a common problem. (Sorry if you know already) Clod stall is when one motor has less drain on the battery therfore it gets more power and the tires with more (weight) traction will lockup/stall. The only way to change or defeat it is to have each motor with its own esc. This is so that you can give the motor that is not running more power and the one that is less.

i read that running one tooth bigger pinion in front also fixes this. is that a unreliable fix? I am pretty sure ill wind up building one of these but wanna know what I will really need in order to have good fun with it.

puting a 12t pinion up front helps. but it will always be there. the ways to get rid of stall is gear down, high turn motors, and volt up

Will 2 ESC's cure Clod Stall if you run them off the same Channel or will it only fix the problem if they are on seperate channels. I am asking because I have a MOA crawler and want to run two ESC's and only have a 2 Channel Radio as I won't be able to afford a Better radio for a while after I purchase the ESC's. Could anyone help me with this.

Running 2 ESC only works with them on seperate channels. Hobbycity.com has a 2.4ghz 4-ch and 6-ch for around $30, then add the shipping from Hong Kong on the slow boat.

2 esc will get rid of it technically but you would need 2 esc that can handle 12v-16.8v for the motors to be any good. try changing the front to a 12t pinion and see if that helps any and get some banebot motors which work better than stockers and you will be only on like $20 for everything

I have stretched my wheelbase and put a 12 tooth pinion up front and that helped with the stall but honestly the best thing you can do is learn to drive around it. I have just learned to see areas where I am going to stall so I hit them with some speed and get up over them. Of course that could come from years of driving a CC-01.

Eh it's just a toy anyhow. I'll try the 12 tooth gear but I'm not going to drop a bunch of money on it. I have am axial and tlt to worry about first. Plus I am trying to get My evader to go faster.
