| banebots on 9.6v
im gettig rid of the crappy twitchy esc, Its driving me freakin insane :? . i tried a 9.6v battery on a xl5 with the stock motors and it did ok powerwise but the difference in controll was day and night. im not realy lookin to spend big cash on a esc so im gonna try running banebots 390s on 9.6v with the xl5. do you guys think that will be enough power for a trail/scale truck?

Did you test the banebots on the xl5 and 9.6volts? I was looking to do the same thing. How did it work out for you?

Nope, just connect the appropriate wires together to go in 1 direction, and hook to the ESC. I was running the xl5 before I got the mamba micro pro... 3s lipo on the stock motors is great!
