| more speed in forward?
Hi folks since I bought my son CC´s, my wheel speed is more faster in forward than backard, its normal? I put a multimeter on the motors and forward the max voltage is 14.8v, but in backward the max voltage is 8,9v another problem that my radio only works fine with throttle and steering switch in REVERSE mode, If I put in normal mode, the car turns and runs in opposite direction I have use the car this way with no problems, but, I curious, what is wrong ? thanks |

no thats normal for it to go slower in one direction. it can be from the esc or the motor timing could be advanced from the factory

It may not be broken. If the timing is advance it should purposefully go faster forward. More info on what motor you're using may help if you do want to look into it more. Also, some ESCs are designed to output more in FWD than REV. Again, if you want to look into it further you could tell us what ESC it is. Having the thr channel set to reverse isn't an issue either. That is fine. You could switch the + and - on the motor and then set the thr channel to normal if you want. Be sure to recalibrate the esc. |
