Default Custom Link/Clocking?

I want to make some cuatom links for my CC but I am have a couple questions before I start. I want a 12 inch wheelbase so should I be measuring from nut to nut on the hubs? Where do you measure your links from so I have the proper legnth? Should I clock both front and rear? I will be locking out rear steer. Lastly do I want to stretch both front and rear of the truck? I know these are newb questions but I only have 2 4-40 12in. threaded rods and I don't want to mess up.

Yes
Where do you measure your links from so I have the proper legnth?
Set the axles up at the proper WB and angle, then measure (measure 3-4 times, cut once).
Should I clock both front and rear? I will be locking out rear steer.
Set the front with some caster (king pins angled back at the top) and if ya are locking out the rear, clock the motor/axle up about 20 degrees.
Lastly do I want to stretch both front and rear of the truck?
Going that long I would do both ends. I like the rear about 20% longer then the front (60/40) but whatever ya do don't make the front longer then the rear.
I know these are newb questions but I only have 2 4-40 12in. threaded rods and I don't want to mess up.
Good Luck!
