| CC BEC and servo connection
The directions for the CC BEC clearly state that servo connections are only rated for 5amp and should be replaced with one that can handle more. I have a HSR-5990TG but I cannot find the amp rating for it, only volts. The range for the servo is 6v to 7.4v and plan to run it at 7.4. Do I need to change out the connector or should it be ok? Also, how do I know what amp the CC BEC will be putting out at 7.4v? Their website says 12 volts input = 7 amps and 24 volts input = 5 amps. Should I assume that at 7.4v input that it will be running higher then 7amps? Thanks |

I have two of those cc becs, one running on 11.1 v and one on 7.4v both using the standard servo wires with your same mm esc, running for hours at a time and have never had any problems. I've run 645mg's though.
