Default Super Rooster Brake

When my crawler goes down a steep decline the super rooster brake kicks in and makes it coast until the car slows way down and then kicks into reverse after it is too late. Nothing is more fustrating than coasting down a hill with no ability to reverse. I've adjusted the trim and that didn't help enough. Do you guys know of any way to fix this?
I have a clod-based 2.2 crawler, and a Futaba 3PM radio.
Thanks

How steep of an incline are you talking about??? My SR kicks into reverse pretty damn quick and for going down inclines I just use blimp reverse to slow forward progress.

Try messing with the throttle ATL to get more braking, and make sure the ABS feature is turned off. The SR only reverses once it senses the motors are stopped, so the key is to get the car to stop as fast as possible. On a crawler going down a hill, gravity is stronger than the ABS, which prevents the wheels from ever stopping and therefore never lets the SR go into reverse.

Hope this helps!
