Default Am I doing the math right??

Just received my new packs from CBP's and I want to make sure I am doing my math correctly. The packs are 9 cell 2/3A 1500 Elite's and the charger is the Piranha digi peak.

I'm setting up the charger for the first 10 hour charge on these packs. If I take the capacity and divide by 10 (1500/10) I get 150mah. Then if I take the 150mah and divide that by 1000 to get the amps...I come up with .15A. So on the charger, I have an option of changing the current, and this should be set to the .2A correct? (can't get .15...options are either .1 or .2)

How high can I set the peak mV/cell on this first charge? Is 5mV a good start or should I go with like 3mV for the initial charge and then 5mV after that?

Once I have this initial charge out of the way, the new setting should go up to 1.5A current.....correct?

.2A should be fine for the first charge and yes 1.5A is good after that. I have tried to charge mine faster and even at 1.6A my packs get hot.

I don't know about the peak mV/cell, I never mess with that on my Triton2.

Most of my 2/3A packs reach a full charge on a 6 to 7mv setting. I would start around 4 or 5 and check the temps at the end of charge. If the pack is not getting warm enough at the end of the charge cycle, I would bump the mv up a notch.

I will charge them at 1.5 amps if I need them in a hurry but mostly at .7 or .8 amps.

If your are it is only rated for 1-8 cells. If not then you should be fine with what you are planning on doing.
