You need a new switch and some trimmer pots.

There's a sheet load of good information in this thread. You sort of have to read all 6 pages. My Modded TQ3 Update - Added EPA pots

what you do is put the gray one in the middle and the white and black on either side, doesn't matter. as long as you put the gray wire in the middle.
afterwards figure which way you want the steering to go, ex: (depending how you put the switch in) you push the switch right, the steering may go left or right just change the rear control nob in the back of the controller.
hope this works

ok. If you want to limit the throw of the rear steer, you will need the dash pots wired in series with in the left side and the right side of the new switch you are going to install. You can get them at radio shack. Small and cheap. Their is a resistance to look for I will check with BignJon on ewrcrc. He is my neighbor and he did it to his TQ3 for the steering on a ds8711... the front steering. Same thing if done on the rear also. You should go there and see his set up. He posted i think. If not yes the gray in the middle, and the other two wires on the ends. You will have full throw of your servo according to your servo when activated left or right.

ohhhhh, looks like you have the wrong type of switch. You need to have a centered 3 position. Which will have 3 tabs on it. I see two wires, is this correct?
