Default DX3 Battery Question

Hey guys, I just got a DX3 used. It came with 8 rechargable 2500MAH batteries, now i dont know how to charge them, it didnt come with a plug to go into the TX. SO what I was thinking, is, I just went out and bought a pack of 9V battery connectors, if I plug the pack of batteries into that, and then charge them with my NIMH battery charger at like 1A, do you think that would be a safe/better way of doing it? That way i can just unplug the pack, and put it back into the TX...

I would hate to let these batteries go to waste, as it would be nice to have a set of rechargables in there as well, instead of spending a ton of money on enegrizers!

I use 15min energizer but I don't see why charge all at once with your charger at low Amps...

Yes that will work fine. I just take mine out and put them in a aa battery charger to charge them. http://www.batteryspace.com/index.as...FR4dagodM1qDfQ

if you had 8cell 2500mah batt . that would be 2.5A but since this AA batt and 2.5A would not good

I would say 1A might be okay but slower the better is the rule of thumb for any NiMh anyway. ... I only ran lipo now so... dont' deal too much on those batt anymore

Yeah ill do around 1A then.

No big deal!

Anyone know how long my DX3 TX should last on those?

I always keep a set of energizer AA's handy anyways incase they die out. But I have never used rechargables in a Tx before.

probably not longer than my DX3R that uses only 4AA.. more efficient.

I had DX3.0 and did last well but I know one thing.. always go down when I really need it.. just carry the back up..
