servo winch switch???

I did some searching but could not find what I was looking for. I recently purchased a TQ-3 with servo/rear steer mod and have modded a Hitech 645 servo for a winch. I hooked it up last night and it drifts a little. I think I can probably adjust the pot some more and get it right. I have read that some people have installed a separate switch between the receiver and the winch servo so you can kill power to the winch. Could someone post some pics of this mod and a little how-to. Also what type of switch do you use. Thanks.
