Default Explain this to me...

I have a clod that I just converted to 2.2. It was working great as a super with and evx and one 1/4 scale servo for steering.

Now It overloads the esc when I am turning and on the throttle. I am using a new gp3300 battery pack, but nothing else changed besides wheelbase and tire size.

The battery lasted a long time, so it seems like that wouldn't be the issue.

ideas?

thanks

The 1/4 scale servo is too much for the EVX's BEC, you need either a BEC or a receiver pack to run it.

I get that, but it was working as a super with no issues.

When you say it overloads the esc, what exactly is happening? Does it shut down, overheat, overheat and then shutdown, smoke, etc

It just kind of stutters, and pretty much loses power. If the steering is not at full lock it's fine.

sounds like your binding the servo. try moving your link in 1-2 holes on the servo horn and see if that helps any
