Default novak crawler esc's

so I wanted to know if novak has got all the bugs worked out of ther crawler series esc's. I was going to get a cc sidewinder but I don't want to plug it into my computer every time some goes wrong with it so I thought that i would maybe get one of the novak crawler esc's instead if the have all the bugs worked out. thanks

I'd reconsider the CC products. I was one of the people having problems with the sidwinder and it turned out to be mostly user error. Much more flexible than anything made by Novak.

I recently put a rooster crawler on my emaxx based rig, and have had no problems at all running 55t motor and two hitec 645's on the 4ws. just slam it on and go, I'd buy another one if I was to build another rig

I have had zero problems with my rooster crawler, over half the guys I run with have them with no problems what so ever. I have used Novak ESC's for years with great success, and I will continue to use them for years to come.

Also I don't want to carry around a laptop.

I just recommend running a CC BEC or something along that line. reason, before I did I had the gliching to the point it wasnt drivable.

I run the Novak combo and now that I have the CC BEC it is a kill setup

2/3A 7cells
Novak brushed combo
Hitech 645
CC BEC @ 6V
Hitech Radio 2ch,... soon to be a Futaba 3PM

PS I like the setup so much Im currently installing another set on my girls tuber

I hope. anyway I will look at the novak rooster crawler again thanks.
