| Two cheap chargers package deals...which one is better?
My first Clod build is nearly done ...in the meantime I have some budget left ...(under $100 cause my wife will feed me my balls) and note that I am in Japan so stuff like Chargers and some other parts are much more expensive than the US but buying from the States too often means multiple shipping fees...Ebay is non existent here we only have Yahoo Auction... There are a couple of cheap deals that look pretty good to me but I'm not sure about this SJ Perfect??? ...only reason that they look OK to me is because I am a total noob on chargers and have only used very basic $20 ones until now ...so here they are Perfect eX Perfect 5000 now I know that they are maybe not up to standards here but they both will be better than what I have at the moment so please tell me which one is better only out of these two ...I mean the P eX is obviously better but how much better than the bottom one ? These are the package deals Perfect eX with two 3000 Mah 7.2v cost: $110 Perfect 5000 with two 3000Mah 7.2v cost: $78 Perfect 5000 with two 4000Mah cost: $95 7.2v I'm also not sure how big the difference is between the two chargers all I know is the eX one does LiPO also and I know they both do not have a discharge function...and I don't need a LiPO charger at all for now (will fork out nice cash on one later) so if the cheaper 5000 model is not much worse for charging my 7.2 v's and my 6v RX packs than the eX then I might as well go cheaper for now one more thing is original prices of the chargers alone at my LHS are $85 for the eX Lipo one and $45 for the 5000 model with no LiPo please help me make the less crappy decision ,I know they all aren't great but better than what I have now...TY in advance ! |

I'd go with the EX, I like the LCD display and the expandability to LiPo in the future.

so if they perform roughly the same on standard batteries it will be a waste of money ... | |
