Default Novak Goat on 2S A123 pack

Thoughts on how well a 2S A123 pack would be for power with a Goat system?

weak. 6.6 volts? c'mon man. Not sure on specs of the goat, but I really like the power from the 9.9volt 3s packs.

Well fully charged the pack should be around 7v, maybe a little over. I got a 4 cell A123 now, fully charged it's over 14v.

the goat will only do up to 7 ni-mh cells, so if he followed novak's instructions he couldn't do 3s a123. but i agree - i love running 3s a123's for my super, through a pair of mamba max's (with a castle BEC, of course). in fact, i wish i had your 4s pack!

i can tell you the exact voltage when i get home of a 2s2p pack, if you want.

Yeah, I'd very much like to know. The 2 cell pack would be nice and small and perfect for my build.
I'm thinking with the right gearing it would probably work pretty well.

Well, I guess I'll find out how it is, I just won a Dewalt 36v pack on Ebay.

It works pretty good actually. A lot of the Cali guys run that.

Sweet! Hey John, when you made that last pack for me, do you leave the factory tabs on the cells? I'll need to get a Hyp. balance plug from ya too.
I just won this at 120 shipped.

fresh off the charger: a charged/balanced 2s2p a123 pack came out to 7.22 volts.
