Default sidewinder ESC question

Hey, i just got a sidewinder from a member here (great deal thanks!) and when i got it, it was set up for a 55T integy motor and a 3300 battery.

I am running a 60T integy motor and a 1600 2/3A battery pack. My question is, will this set up work fine even tho it was set up for a different motor/battery combo?

any help would be great.
thanks
Steve

Both brushed motors, and both running non-lipo battery.............how it is setup should work fine as is for you. Basic settings can be changed via the ESC if you wish to change up anything. For another $20-25, the Castle Link is a great tool to have though.

Agreed.... castle link is nice to have but not nessesary to have either. I'm anal about running my batteries belowtheir voltage cut off so i'd buy it just to set up the battery cut off but then you can also do your throttle curves and stuff... It is handy to have... I have a MM and wouldn't trade it for anything!
