Default Replaced ESC and motor issue.

I have a Wheely King w/ 4200mah battery. Had a blown stock Jolt-R ESC and I replaced it with a Novak Rooster, also replaced with a Integy 45T motor. When I turn on the controller the motor just spins, I hit the throttle it goes faster. I have tried adjusting the th. trim with no results. Tried flipping the pos and neg over on the motor with no change. Any ideas? Could dying batteries in the controller cause this? I havent used it in a few months cause I have been working on my 1:1. Thanks.

Did you go through the one-touch setup first?
