| Which radio for dig or rear steer?
I've come into some xtra cash and wanting to add dig to my comp axial. But cant decide on what radio to get could be anything from modded tq3 up to a spectrum. Also going to do rear steer on another truck so i would like this radio to be able to do both well. any suggestions.

I am Fond of the MX-3 and the MX-3FHSS (sectrum version) I like the feel, wheel feedback and balance. The MX-3 is about 100 on Ebay and 170 for the other, Very easily modded, and both are capable, with a multi model memory for each. I have my MX-3 modded with momentary push buttons, but you could run a 3 position toggle and have DIG and Steering on the same radio.

The DX3R all the way. It has so many features, and works perfect with the dig or rear steer. Ultimat hobbies has them for $269 with free shipping. http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar...d=SPM3100!1002 |

Damn, as I have slowly been building my rig I am cringing at this last part which is the DX3R. But like mentioned above, this radio seems to be the bomb. Now I know that it can be had for $270!!! I look at it as the least troublesome for a dig setup type radio thingamajiger. lol. Honestly though, the features on it are amazing. I actually don't even think that it is too much fro what you get. $.02 |
