| Mamba 25 w/ brushed motor
I see they have new firmware to add brushed mode to the Mamba 25. Will there be any problems running the Mamba 25 out of my RC18 in my WK crawler w/ a 35t lathe? |

I don't see where it says that it can run a brushed motor??? I know the new sidewinder micro can do it. do you have that?

Once the Mamba 25 is set with the new firmware,it'll do brushed. Seems like I remember John saying there was a turn limit though....if you wanted to be safe about it. For some reason I'm thinking it was 55t max to be on the safe side. I seem to remember a couple guys trying 35t motors on the 25 and the ESC got a little to warm. There is a thread about it here |

according to castle, the brushed limit on the mamba 25 is 55 turns in a light 2.2 rig.

I wouldnt push past 7 or 8 cells with a 55t motor. The m25 doesnt have much for power on a 540 brushed motor.

A 45 turn with a 2 cell Lipo in a light 2.2 and 12/87 gearing got hot and smelly and I wouldn't recommend it. Used an external BEC also.
