Default battery pack soldering question

i've made tons of packs myself with the cells side by side or saddle style, but how do you solder the cells end to end like a regular stick pack?

thanks for any help!

You can use braid. Solder the + to - like a side by side job, and then fold it over.

Manufactures use a very thin battery bar type thing.

Trinity make a kit that includes bars, clear plastic tubes to lay the cells in, end covers and shrink wrap to enclose the whole thing up into a neat stick pack. I have made up several packs using these kits and the only thing I would recomend is putting a small hole in the battery bar for the solder to sweat through to the cell

If you "tin" the braid and the cell, just put the braid in place on the cell then reheat.

Easy.

I have tinned both sides that you want to connect, then heat them simultaniously and slide them together quickly. Only do this if you don't plan on taking them apart. I also remember seeing a liquid solder once. You used it like epoxy and it was conductive.
