| SR3500 problem
have a new sr3500 rx hooked up to a sidewinder and cc bec and 5955tg, with a DX3. well i got the hitec 225 in for the vf dig and hooked it into the A port of the reciever and the bec into the b port. the rx starts blinking fast and nothing works. this is how i had my sr3000 wired up and it worked fine. then i hooked the bec into the A port like i ran it sat. at its first comp, then the 225 into the b port and the rx seems fine except the 225 does nothing if i unhook the bec and plug the 225 into the A port, the servo works right with my a button on the DX3 so basically it all works fine on the old sr3000, but if i hook up the new sr3500 the same exact way, its all screwed up anybody got an idea? the spektrum site says that the 3500 has the same circuitry as the sr3000..... |

ok, that worked fine BUT.. now everytime i disconnect the battery and then hook it back up the rx will not pick up a signal.no matter if i turn on the radio first or rx first it keeps blinking! if i bind it again it works fine until i disconnect the battery |

I can't find it but I know there was a thread where the older versions of the BEC caused the spektrum recievers to go into bind mode when the BEC was plugged into the battery slot. Try plugging the bec in an auxilary channel and see what that does for you

i know it works fine in the aux spot, cause thats how i ran it saturday, but i have to be able to run my dig off of that. so i should just remove the signal wire from the bec huh? |

I think you said you dont have a castlelink, so you may not be able to do this, but check to see how much delay the sidewinder has for the rec to bind. may need to turn it up? not sure if that option is available manually or not. | |

| Hopefully kamikaze will see this but he was telling me something about this. He said to run the bec through a y-harness to the servo and not to plug it directly into the rx. You may want to pm him with a link to this thread.

I have basically the same set-up, except i have a mamba max, when i plug in my battery the delay is only for the throttle the dig and steering work as soon as the rx and tx binds. I have lke a 2.5 sec delay for the throttle channel but the steering wiil work even while the throttle is in delay. Your set-up should(?) work like it is.You should not have to rebind it everytime. What voltage do you have the BEC set at?

Hey Hey Hey!!! Its the caslte bec trying to make your rx bind. Plug both the steering servo and the bec into the steering channel via wiring harness. Then use the 3rd channel for the dig, leave the battery port open. That should fix it.
