Default cheap xtrail electronics setup?

so im building a xtrail for my brother, but tryin to keep it low budget. any advice on the best, cheap, electronics i should use? ( speed control, radio/reciever, servo) thanks a lot for the help rcc users =]

Cheapest setup would probably be a 45-55t lathe motor, a Moped V16R esc, and a towerpro mg995 (mixed reviews, most very happy though). You could get all three of those for under $80-100 if you look around. Most of the site vendors have deals on these for fellow RCCrawler members. Good luck, that's what I started out with, cept I wanted a faster motor cause I wasn't building a crawler only...
