| can I run two parallel receivers?
I have 2 rigs (currently) with 2 separate tx's. I would like to get a spektrum frequency tx that has memory for more than one rig. Problem is, once in a while my son likes to come out and drive with me. SO, is it possible to set up one truck with 2 recievers, but only have one plugged in at a time? I would wire the receiver up and just swap the plugs to the other receiver when he wants to drive it. Would this cause interference or other issues? Any advice is welcome. |

The problem is, with an ESC, you would have to reset the ESC when you change transmitters...

If both transmitters are the same, and it's a one touch set-up ESC, then you should be fine. While your going in and switching all the wires, take an extra second for the ESC. Or go with a crystal radio and just give your son the frequency for the car so he can swap when it's his turn. Or go with a Nomadio Sensor and set up a different profile and bind it to that transceiver, then all your boy has to do is switch profiles. |

Thanks thor-but I would like to drive my other rig with him, so I'd keep my transmitter and give him another transmitter entirely, that is tied with the second receiver. then I'd just pull the plug and insert into the otehr receiver. Doesnt sound like it will be easy. I'll just stick to separate radios then. Thanks. |
