Lipo balancing

so i picked up some lipos yesterday.
this is my first shot at running lipos and i got a 1900 12c 2s for my axial

wow...major run time ran it for over an hour and then switched to my hi lux

my hi lux i got a 5000 mah 2s 22c cause i really like to run my scaler and hate waiting on it to charge when i head out for the day ...

ran it for almost 2 hours today and it only needed 2k to fill back up omfg i can run all day on this pack and not kill it

i have a lba10 balancer and when i tried to use it
it just shuts down

from what i read in the instruction it means that the cells are ballanced and dont need a balance yet

how often do u need to balance these things?

I usually balance mine every time I charge because its really easy with the 0606i, but you don't have to. The rule of thumb I've heard is every 10 charges.

I have the 0606i charger as well and i use the balance every time I charge the battery.

I balance charge every time I charge my lipo's also. It's good for the batteries so why not? I have heard every ten times and I have met many that never balance charge. To me, if balance charges means that the batteries will last longer and perform better, I'm going to do it every time. They put the balance taps on them for a reason.

balancer will help over charge on each cell while charging . balancer discharge so that each cell stays correct voltage while charging. I would always use balancer to better life...
