Default Runtime and KAN1050 Cells

I am looking to get some custom packs made up at cheapbatterypacks.com

9 cell KAN1050

or

8 cell KAN1050

What runtime can I expect? I have a clod with 55t matrix motors, 8 tooth pinions, one digital servo and one non-digital servo and a tekin rebel 2 esc than can handle 10 cells.

So basically I am looking for runtime with a smaller battery pack. Let me know which pack you would choose and the estimated runtime.

Thanks

If I said, "Not very long." Would that be good enough?
~12 minutes is my estimate. My little, tiny, lightweight AA 700 mAh pack lasts about 10 minutes with two Lathes, two servos, in a light truck. I'm getting ready to try 2500 mAh AAs, I'll post something up about run times when I finally solder them together.

Those KAN cells are being outclasses by CBP's own 1150s. Their site even says use the others. So don't buy the KAN cells. Another step up is the GP1100s.

Depending on where you want to put the battery pack, you really have a lot of options. The CPB180045, HR1950FAUP, GP2000AFHR, CPB2500A are 4/5A or A cells, but getting on the large side. These can do ~20+ amps. AAs and 2/3As can't really handle the amp draw, but are small. So performance suffers. A compromise, but that might be offset by the lightweightness of the pack. Maybe.

It doesn't hurt to test things out though. ;)

Good luck, and let us know.

I should start looking into LiPo batteries...

Personally I'd get the GP1100's, they have a higher amperage rating than the KAN's. I use a 6 cell pack of GP1100's on my TLT with a lathe motor and get about 30 minutes.
