independent clod steering with tmaxx 3ch radio

I have a tmaxx 3ch radio and i was wondering if there is a way to make the 3rd channel work so u can flip it one way and steer left flip it in the middle and go stright and flip it the other way and steer right. i have it set up now so it goes stright and steers to the right but i was complete control of the steering. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know. I am all for soldering wires if i have too. I was thinking maybe getting a 3 position switch and use that but im not sure how to wire it up.

ya, you can buy a 3 way switch, which will give you a full left, full right, and nuetral position. you can get a 3 way switch at your hobby shop.

the only problem with the 3 way switch is its on off on if you get a cheap 4 channel stick radio it real time stearing its there when you need it and you can stear as much or as little as you whant i use one

how would i wire up a 3 way switch? I was trying to figure it out but i havent been able to do it yet. If anyone knows how please let me know.
