Default Castle Sidewinder esc question

hey guys, i just got my ax10 built and running last night and after setting up the esc everything seemed to be working perfect until i tried to use reverse. When in reverse i pretty much have no power and the thing barely moves.Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Have you programmed it for 100% reverse throttle and set your throttle endpoints?

I just calibrated the esc to set the endpoints and its still super slow. Guess i'll just have to wait a few more days for my castle link to get here.

you can call castle toll free and tech will walk you thru the manual reverse setup real quick. It's a lil vague in the book as to the beep sequence. then you'll have it until you get the link.

Yea i was reading through the manual set up and it seemed pretty confusing having to listen to all those beeps and make sure you know what your answering.

Is the castle link easy to use, the interface makes it appear so but i have never used it?

Yes, the CL is quite easy to use. It is a basic computer program.

also make sure that the brake on the transmitter is set to 100%, found out after running around that my thumb was hitting the brake adjust on my dx3r and turning it down. sometimes I had reverse, sometimes not much :-P.
