Default DX3R issue

I just went out and got me one... I've gone thru the manual and searched and so on but I can not get ch 3 to output anything other than a steady signal... I've set the switch I want to to use for 4WS to 3P and nothing happens... I've even tried another servo on that channel and nada... Using Chicken Butts set at 5.5ms.. They all work in ch 1, but nothing in ch 3/aux posit...

Ideas?

I had the same thing happen. Change your frame rate to I think 11 or around there, what ever next is after 5.5. This solved my problem.

I had the same problem with myine and my vf dig servo.

I even went out and bought a digital servo and still nothing.

I called spektrum and they said there was something wrong with the radio!
they told me to send it in to get repaired

Mine was also with the servo for my dig. I have the 225 and a 5955. If there is something wrong with the radio I have not noticed it and everything seems to work this way.

Same issue here. Mine is one of the ones that needs to be sent in for service too.

Losing Bind is different than a signal problem.

The 225 servo doesn't much like a Frame rate of 5.5 and mine was kind of wonky on 11. I put mine to 16.5 and all was perfectly fine. Like in crawling we could ever tell the difference. Even in racing it's not night and day until you are working with a good setup and some nice servos.

Now can someone tell me how to set the EPA's for the aux channel individually? Anytime I go to tweak the EPAs for it, it does both at the same time... Resulting in a variance of steering throw from side to side 'cos of my cheesy setup on the servo horn I did to make it work with the TQ3 the 3R replaced...;)

DaViolentone: To set the end point for the aux. .Pull up travel and scroll to the aux click on it till you get the hi and low highlighted. Use the steering wheel to move it back and forth to highlight the one you want.

Ah! Ok... Never thought of that... I figgered it woulda been like the other 2 EPA's... Use the "item" in question...;) Thanks, man...

This is why I dig this site... Most ppl are willing to give up info pretty fast and without a hassle or complaint or constantly "USE THE SEARCH"... Yea I use it... But sometimes, the posts dealing with what I want is SO far back, ya never see it after going thru a few pages of results...

I know but I though a few might have more than 1 problem.

I don't think the are "willing to give up info" I think the vast majority of the members here(in my whopping 4 day membership) are in the same position as you are: looking for answers. I am a newbie to crawling (have many brushless/nitro buggies/ m/ts/ truggies) but have input into r/c in general and would help with anything I could. The major benefit to forums like this is information and without the posting of valid or invalid information these forums are worthless. So post if you think you can help at all. Even posts of items that don't succeed benefit everyone(except the guy that tried it first:-()!!!
