| Radio Shak Sux! Where else can I go?
I'm tiered of Radio shak not crrieing anything I need and nobody knowing what there selling so where else can I go? I don't mind an online store but I would like one that is NOT overseas! I'm looking fo a store that not only carries LED's and resistors but soldering supplies, wire, blank project boards and anything else that some one would need in this hobby. Please do not just post up any old company you can Google. I want someplace that you have used and was happy with there varity of stock as well as there customer service!

Frys made me cream my pants, they are very few of them and are on the west coast mostly. The one we went to had a shark tank when you came in. Lets just say it has more crap in it than a every radioshack store put together and then plus every cool gadget known to man.

Between Frys and All Electronics I've been happy with both in service for my own personal builds as well as my work needs.

Use Google and search for LED's .... theres a ton out there. Radio Shack only has the cheap crap anyway. When I was Computer Case Modding I would order them from various places. The companies even had helpful info relating to what resistors were needed and how many. Dont go for the Chinese bulk, their mostly knock offs anyway and pay close attention to their ratings. I cant remember who my main supplier was but I'll look around when I get home for his info or old invoices. |
