Unhappy Flame out...

I have a duratrax inellispeed 21 t with reverse and a kyosho magnetic mayhem. The magnetic mayhem rules! Although the last couple batteries(Sanyo 2400 NimH) they have been getting hot. As always, i am taking good care of it and the ESC hasnt had any abuse. It has always run good besides with a Faulty Team Orion Stock Core .

I have also noticed that when i go in reverse it accelerates alot faster than when going foraward. Almost like a delay going forward... I cant remeber if it always did this or not... Do all ESC's do this? I know super roosters have a big delay when going into reverse.

I just am concerned and don't want to drive it because the potential to damage the ESC and motor.

Thanks, Cya

lunardaisy, what truck is this in? It sounds to me like you are running your motor/s in reverse rotation and you are reversing the channel on your controller.

Try reversing the 2nd channel on your controller and see how it responds to throttle.

you can download the manual from duratrax.com.

it sounds like ch2 is reversed. download the manual, do the setup again and you should be good to go.
