You will need an Rx pack with that ESC, I burned up an MC230 trying to power two 945mg's.

Novak's Super Rooster and Tekin's Rebel 2 can handle powering 2 servos. Look for the BEC output on the ESC the higher the better, this powers your servos.

yeah i had a look on the novak site, the super rooster and super duty both have 3 amps compared to 1amp or .5a for most of the others. may have to find a super rooster now :(. thanks for the info, its much appreciated |

I've been using the Futaba MC330 to power 2 Traxxas 2055 High Torque servos and 2 lathe motors in my Twin Detonator crawler for several months and it works well. Acording to Futaba's tech support, the 330 has a 6 volt 3 amp BEC. I just moved it to my TLT because of it's size. The 330 is only about half the size of a Super Rooster, so it works well in a TLT. I keep killing the plastic gears on the 2055 servos on my TLT, so I may find out soon if the 330 can handle stronger servos. Instead of running a receiver pack, you could try running the electronics off a voltage regulator powered by the main battery. |

why dont u just run a positive and a negative lead from the battery to the place on ur reciever that accepts a rx pack? i hade a manual speed control once (wow long time ago) and it did this zact thing and plugged right into my traxxas reciever in the rx pack plug. do the esc's regulate the volts down to 6 volts?

oh ok cus i just read up on my reciever and it had this huge note in bold that said DO NOT USE 6 VOLTS OR ABOVE IT WILL CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE... so i guess im not doing that... but if i wanted to run a rx pack with an esc would i just plug the rx pack in place of the positive and negative on the esc? cus i would like 6 volts to my reciever i only get 4.8 now.

yes RX pack to RX and main batt to ESC but keep that ESC switch turned off (or cut off the red wire) or your receiver will get power from both batts and fry things up.
