It says "PUSH CONTROL or ANTI-DRAG overcomes the natural drag of the motor when you return to neutral. Racers refer to this as “creep” , this setting eliminates the need to trim the throttle forward to create a coasting (pushing) effect. Low values give you a short duration push, higher values a longer duration push." Sounds to me like it allows the car to coast with no drag from the motor to slow it down. It's the opposite of "drag brake". Sounds like you would want to set it to the lowest value for a crawler. |

Just curious, but could you use "push control" to make it so the rig doesn't jerk to a stop if you were running high drag brake?

Think of it as this, push control allows you to program how much forward creep the car will have when the trigger is in neutral which eliminates drag brake. Drag brake controls how hard it is to roll forward (or back) when the trigger is in neutral which eliminates push. The standard for a crawler is to use drag brake, you don't want your rig creeping forward while you study what line you want. | |

I just installed the FX-R in my AX10. I use both Push Control and Drag Brake. Push control is set to 2, and drag brake is set to 3. When I release the throttle (to neutral), there is a short delay before the drag brake engages. The push control setting determines how long of a delay there is before the drag brake is engaged. It works like in a real car, when you release the throttle, the car coasts (and slows due to aerodynamic drag and engine braking), and then you apply the brake. How you set up Push Control and Drag Brake is a function of how you want to drive. |
