| Electronics problem in Axial RTR
I hadn't even run my new truck for 24 hours when I ran it into something and the servo suddenly lost power and made a weird noise, I took it inside, set it on the carpet, turned it back on and all the servo did was whine. I took it apart after a few minutes of seeing if it's a glitch and bits of plastic gears fell out. Now that's not my problem. My problem is the ESC, it stopped working also after about 30 minutes of it sitting there turned on, it wouldn't move so I turned it off, and waited a little bit. I turned it back on and all I heard was buzzing and it didn't beep at me like normal, what happened I guessed it fried from being connected to the battery and not being used:-(. Any help would be nice. (I am already getting a new ESC and servo because I have no idea what's wrong. It's a Dynamite Tazer 12t FRD/REV ESC and a Futaba S3305 metal geared high torque servo. If you have objections to that combo let me know, because I'm on a budget.)

I have a Tazer 12T as a backup esc. It works wel but has delays both in foreward and reverse. Other than that it works well. I have Hitec Digital servos (rws) and they are awsome. Make sure your new servo is high torque. I reccomend around 150 oz/in or more for crawling. The futuba your looking at has 124 oz-in and all metal gears. Sounds like a good servo to me.

good cuz the ESC is $29.99 and the servo is $32.99, bargain parts but still good quality and performance. |
