Default Eflite 450 outrunner

I just got an Eflite 450 outrunner in a trade. Can I use my Mamba Max or do I need to use an ESC that has lower continuous amp ratings?

Of course this is going into a crawler.

no problem, it is the motor that draws the current, the esc is just the gateway.

You do know that the Eflite motor will not fit standard pinions on the shaft right?
