| Good/Small 3 Cell lipo
Looking for a good small 3 cell lipo with over 1300mah. It has to be 3" or under in length. Anyone know where to find one? Thanks for the help. Last edited by yotachump; 07-19-2008 at 06:08 PM. |

Try Hobby City. Their cheap but pretty good for the money. I just measured one of my 1320's. 2 3/4 x 1 1/4. Its 20C and 30C burst. Gotta pay shipping from hong kong but the last time I ordered I split with a couple other guys and we bought 23 batteries, some servos and a couple indoor outrunners. I think shipping was about 30 bucks (8 of em were 2100 heli batts too). I did have one of their batts puff a little on me but I haven't stopped using it or seen any ill effects from it. Might have been that 80 MPH foamy pusher jet I had it in. I like the HDX I think is the one. They have blue heat shrink. Just an option to concider.

Ran across this one while looking for a smaller 3S earlier myself. It is just a little over 3". I have been running MaxAmps 3S 2100 batts for awhile now, and love them, but the size is killing my configuration limitations. From my readings here, 20C+ is best for crawling, but these are listed as 15C. Could some of the batt experts give an opinion on these? http://www.radicalrc.com/shop/?shop=1&cat=185 Kokam Lithium Polymer 3S 2000 mAh 15C |

Yes, I am looking for something over 20C. I just burnt up 2 of my 3cell Thunder Power 1320's because of there low C rating.

I used the Zippys for a while now, waiting on a few 2200 as we speak. So far, they have been great packs. BTW, try to get the Zippy R packs as they are built in Korea and are a little bit better quality than the ones made in China. |

I have 3 of these Zippy packs and have not had any problems with them whatsoever. They provide plenty of power, have great runtimes, fit on my Axial low CG batt plate with no interference and have been worth every penny spent.

Airthunder sells a nice small 2s and 3s 1000mah .....plus they have the newest non puff cell technology. I use them in my helicopters and if I am confident enough with them to buy $260 6s packs I'm sure you will be happy with a $25ish dollar pack. |

| Here are a couple of pics. Never mind the wiring mess. front from above Oh, and I run them through a FX-R powering a JP 35T warrior w/ 12/87 gearing and get about 40m-1hr runtime. Even longer when I'm driving conservatively....yeah right....like that ever happens. |
