Default My lipo is messed up...

My 3 cell 11.1V (1250) lipo quits working at 10 volts.

Here's my specs:

Holmes Revolver Black
Quark Pro Car
Kokam 3 cell lipo
Spektrum radio gear

I have the cutoff voltage set at default (2.7V per cell)

I only get 10 minutes of run time.

Any ideas what's up?

Idont' have the same setup as yours but mine poops out around 10 volts as well. I don't think you want to drop below 3 volts per cell though. Is it fully charging? a 1250 should take at least an hour to charge. My 3s (1320) peaks at 12.55volts w/ a balancer as it is charging.
I'm running a 55t/Mamba Max 13/87 and get about 1 1/2 hours ou tof a 1320. Brushless takes more juice though.

It's definitely fully charging. It reads 12.5 volts on my Triton Jr. charger, as well as my meter.

The 3V per cell is probably true, but it never even gets to 3V per cell. It poops out long before 9V.

What gets me is that I was getting 45 minutes of crawl time with the battery a week ago. Now I get maybe 10 minutes.

The battery is probably a year old, but it's only been cycled a dozen times or less.

Do you balance it? You may have a cell that is off the others and triggers the cut-off.

Have you balanced it?

I thought lipo's were not suppose to be taken below 3v per cell........i ran a 2s down to 6.06v.........I balance every time just to be safe.

Like I said, It hasn't been taken below 3 V per cell. The Quark defaults to 2.7V, however, it can be set to 3V. 3V per cell would be 9V. It takes a dump at 10-10.5V after 10 minutes of run time.

Maybe it's a balance issue. I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the help, guys.

If one cell is lower than the rest, it could drop below 3v while the other two are over and not trip the voltage cut off. Could cause headaches charging.
How long does it take to charge?

They're not.....2x3=6 and in his case 3x3= 9 because he has a 3s

Some food for thought...unless you're measuring the voltage on the pack while under a load, you're not seeing the same voltage the LVC in the ESC is.
