Question KR can, for crawling

I have a mint KR can that I want to put a hand wound armature in. My question is, do you have to remove Sckotty diode from the end bell. I read something, somewhere about you can't use it with a lathe motor.

Thanks for all the help, Darren

Can't use a Sckotty Diode on any motor that you want to have reverse!

1. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SCHOTTKY DIODES
•NO SCHOTTKY DIODES•
Schottky diodes must NOT be used with reversible ESCs.
Schottky use will damage ESC and void the warranty.
