Default CC-BEC wiring up to TQ3 RX

So last night all excited to power up my new rig, CC-BEC to Batt port, connect ESC(Tekin RB) to #2, connect batteries ...SMOKE and melted insulation on Black wire from RX to ESC and Brown wire from RX to BEC. I pull the plug ASAP and salvage the ECS. Remove the cc-BEC, run set-up on ESC and everything operates perfectly. I then tried removing the Red wire from the ESC, and plugging the cc-BEC back in ...SMOKE. Reconnect without the cc-bec , back to normal.

What's wrong? Do I have to rearrange the wire order in the cc-bec RX plug to work with the TQ3 RX.

I'm lost on this one.

the second time you did everything correctly, I think what happened is you might have fried the bec when you had the esc power on as well. where did the smoke come from.
