Default DX6 and Castle BEC Quick ?

Is it best to just connect the Castle BEC direct to Servo's and run the white lead from servo to the AR6000 spectrum receiver ?

Or is it REALLY safe and still good power to connect the BEC to the AR6000 receiver Battery terminal ?

I will be using the BEC to also power my speaker amplifier 6v.
8 cell
I am using all 6 channels.

Thank you

I'm not really sure what you're getting at, what i can say is that the Rx servo terminals can supply enough current to run your servos so there's no need to wire the bec directly to the servo's, you can just plug the bec into the RX. However there's one thing you need to make sure and that is the signal wire from the CC bec must not be connected to the signal pin of the Battery/bind port of the spectrum rx. The reason for that is due to the cc bec using this pin for communication with castle link and also the rx using the same pin for binding. So just connect your two power wires into the rx and not the sig. wire or connect the bec into another chanel using a y lead and pull out the sig wire from the cc bec

Castle fixed that problem about the BEC messing with the receiver. I am currently running the BEC DIRECTLY into my DX6i receiver (battery port) and I'm having no issues with it whats so ever. My BEC is a fresh new unit with the fix in it.

There fix was installing a cap on the rx, I would leave the servo hooked up to the cc bec like you have it that way the rx wont see the amp draw from the servo under load and shut down. SPM 1600 is the part number for the cap

x2. Same set up on 2 rc's with no issues. I think I am using the ar6200 rx's. I actually have an older CC BEC, it has all the current updates.

My concern is that my hitec 5955 servos are a load of 4 amps each and it seems a bit much to push that much through a receiver that is used for Heli's and planes

Is there an electronics wizard in the house to answer this question ?

I run an 8711 and a HItec servo(Model?) for my dig on my comp rig(ar6200). This is off the Spektrum website, it applies to the 6200 and 6100 Rx. I run my BEC @ 5.8v on comp rig and 6.5 on scaler.
Voltage Range: 3.5-9.6V

On my Scaler(ar6100) I have 2 TPmg946, one is steering and one is a winch. Ask anyone that was at the scale finals. I used the winch to pull my 8-10lb rig up a 3ft rock face(wedged in) and 2ft up a tree hanging in the air to finish a course. Not sure if this helps you, but I have had no problems.

It works fine in a 2.2, but in a super it could overload the board on the ar6000 and cause glitching or cutting out. Give it a shot on a hot day, and if it doesn't work flawlessly try routing power to at least one servo in parallel with a Y harness.

How many watts is this "stereo" system?

• Front Speakers: 2 Watts/channel @ 8 ohms @ 10%
THD @ 20 - 20000 Hz 2 Channels Loaded
SYSTEM RESPONSE:
100 Hz – 20 kHz
SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO @ 1 KHZ
INPUT: > 75 DB
DRIVERS:
Two 25 mm full-range neodymium micro

4 watts is nothing. One CC bec should be plenty, but I have seen people running one for each servo on a super.
