one a axial rtr would it be easier to waterproof the esc or put in a waterproof one

It would be easier to install a water proof one, if we're talking about the merits of how much work each would take.

Building a small box to seal your electronics however is pretty easy..but if your ESC shopping you can purchase a water proof one. It won't be as ideal for crawling, but it will be water proof.

ok thanks i just wanted to know because i would be crawling near lake huron and might want to go in the water

yes if ur gonna be submerged in water then def get a waterproof esc

i won't be sumerged just in about four to five inches deep

well if the esc is gonna be underwater at all u should play it safe and get a waterproof one
