Or don't. 4 Lathe motors in house, no caps, no problems.

All 4 were broken in, and wiring on the trucks is laid out nicely.

No glitches.

its funny it really depends on ur electronics... take for example my 2 normal no crawler electric cars... in my traxxas rustler i run a Chamelon pro 2 19t motor w/o capacitators with stock radio... with this car i can go the range of the radio w/o glitches. BUT on the other hand i have a Team Losi XXX bk (shes a great car i could beat any savage or tmax at the track no problem ) i run the same motor most of the time the Chamelon pro 2 19t. If i run my losi without capacitators i would only get about 20 feet and it would just start to glitch like mad.. u pop a couple of caps on it and she will go for a 1/2 mile + no prob.... the damn cars to small to go n e further ....

SOOO what im trying to say is try it w/o caps and c if it works... if not put some on... BUT you could just put them on at the begining and not have a prob.

I don't think it will reduce any actual audio noise, the caps reduce electrical "noise".

Anyhow, three, 0.1uF 50V non polarized ceramic capacitors are commonly used. One wired from the positive to the negative terminals, one from the positive terminal to the can, and one from the negative terminal to the can.
