Default Small 2S Lipo

I'm looking for the smallest 2000+ mah 2S lipo possible. looking around, it looks like 4.1 inches is about the smallest (I think) Has anyone found any that are smaller? Where? Just like you all, I am working with very limited space

Thanks

4.1X?X? we need more dimensions in order to figure out what is smaller. Check out different sights like Maxamps and CheapBatteryPacks.com, they may have something beter.

Sorry... the width and height are all pretty much the same for a 2S right? It's the length that I have noticed diferences in. I can handle wider or taller... my space contraints are mostly length-wise.

Thanks

My Common Sense lipos are shorter in length 85 mm (3.3")

ps you can also use a smaller capacity pack and parallel them to get 2000+ mah.

Thanks for the link. I noticed a warning "can handle maximum 50amp burst for up to 5 seconds every 30 seconds"

What will generate a maximum burst? Is that like totally bound up and on the throttle, or just full throttle?'

And what happens if you exceed that? Does the battery catch fire or just shorten the life?

Thanks

Just turn the battery so the 4.1 is either the height or the width. nah sorry hehehehe. You could also go 1500 Those will get you closer to 3-3.5 inches.

Going over the ratings will cause shorter battery life .

50 amps burst will depend on your power sytem. Some will go way over of course , some may not come close. My play 2.2 crawler won't even begin to tax that battery. If it is questionable use a higher rated one.

Hey Harvo, if you have room to stack two 1100mah packs you can easily go under 4 inches.

If you give MaxAmps a call, they can make any kind of pack you want. Like 2 of these in parallel 1100mah 2 cell, stacked one on top of the other will get you to 34mm wide X 66mm long X 26mm thick (or 1.33 x 2.6 x 1.02 inches). And you will end up with a 2200mah pack.
