You need a Castle link and software, then you use your PC or laptop. Your LHS should have one, and they can program it for you.

You have to use a Castle Link to set it, stock it is set at 5.1 volts, with most servos you will want to run it at 6.0 volts. What speed control do you have? If you have a Side Winder speed control or plan on upgrading to one I would highly suggest picking up a Castle Link.

You should be able to pick up a Castle Link for around $25 at a hobby shop, $23-$25 at a online store, or you might be able to find one for around $15 in the "For Sale" section.

Also, don't forget to remove the positive wire from your speed control Heres an example.

If you don't want to spend the cash on a castle link you can send it to me and I will set it for you, at the voltage you want.

The software is the same for all CC products (MM, sidewinder, BEC, etc).

The hardware is what will vary. Your MM has the ability to connect directly to a USB port using a simple USB cable. The other products will require the use of a Castle Link, to convert the product language to something a PC will understand.

You will need the Castle Link, you plug the link directly into the BEC unit. CA has alot of crawlers, you could probably find someone local that would be willing to help you out with a Castle Link, there isn't much of a point to buy one just to set the BEC since you only use it once, most of the time.

The castle softweare automatically recognizes which hardware piece you attached to your PC.

The CC BEC is a separate hardware item from the Mamba Max Esc. So you won't see a setting for BEC in your Mamba Max settings.

Ah, I used to live in Dublin also, off of Stagecoach Rd., do they still have the Thursday car shows at Fosters Freeze??
