Wont the charger shut it off when charge is complete? Unless I am missing something...... Charging a 4000mah pack at .5 amps is going to take a while..... |

Charging a 4000mah pack at 4 amps (1C) will take 1 hour. So charging at .5 would take around 7-8 hours if the pack was comletely dead. Now, if thats supposed to be a 1400 mah battery, charging at .5 will take about 3 hours if its dead I believe. |

You guys are kinda missing the point of the question.. TIMZKRAWLER, when you set the charge parameters on your charger correctly, it will automatically stop the charge when the battery is full. There isn't anything you need to watch for or pay attention to. |

I dont have that specific charger, but my Hyperion 606I beeps about 5 times before it shuts off. If you miss the beeps, you can tell when it's done because it flashes "End" on the screen. Also, I'd have to agree with Rockcrawler, boost up the Current on that charger or you'll be waiting for quite some time. |

Rockcrawler is right and according to cheapbatterypacks the first charge should be at 1/10c or about 10 hours charging time which would be .4 amps, thereafter you can charge at 1C - 4 amps.
