Default Wiring in CC BEC to power wires

I just ordered me a CC BEC to help out the steering and dig servo on my rig. Mainly for my dig 225....I have noticed it seems to twitch and not lock into 4wd unless my battery is at its peak. This should help it right?

Anyways, my main question is how are you all wiring the BEC to the wires that connect to the battery? are you splicing the wires and soldering them or making like some type of deans adapter to fit in between the esc wires and the battery wires? Pics would be helpful!

That's probably the simplest way to do it. BTW SULFER, it's a bad practice to use a female connector on the power plugs of your ESC - the female should be on the batt to avoid accidental shorting.

SULFUR's how to guide sums it up pretty good, I've also soldered a Male & Female Deans together with the CC BEC wires soldered in between, then shrink tube over the entire thing, this allows the CCBEC to be replaced, removed or whatever very easily.

i have mine wired in like that, but i hate it. when I'm at a comp i have to consistently take my body off and on to plug and un-plug my battery. sorry for hijacking, but does anyone have a good way to wire it so you can turn the esc and bec on from one switch?

If you put the switch on the battery lead you will get the desired result of only needing one switch.

Definitive wiring diagrams for BECs Rx Servos Motors etc.

Look at this thead. Check post # 17 for diagram, and make a Y harness. That is pretty much what I did and it works perfectly.

My dig servo just plugs into the Rx. I don't need the extra power for that, yet.

I seem to have found the easiest way yet. I just soldered the BEC leads to the ESC battery posts, leave the ESC switch in the on position and just plug the battery in to turn everything on at once. I'm using a Tekin FX-R Pro, Spektrum SR3000 Rx, Hitec 7955 steering and Hitec 5625 dig servos all running off a GForce 1300mah 3S Lipo going through the CC BEC.

It all works like a charm.
