Hey, i ordered my axial ax-10 a-rtr a couple of days ago. hopefully she'll come tomorrow. I am just wondering how/where i should mount my electronics. I have a old traxxas 3-channel reviever(pretty big) and the novak rooster crawler esc. And a 6cell battery.=/ soon i hope to get a saddle pack. Any ideas/pictures would help greatly. ill post some pictures when im all done. thanks littleWOJIN |

I though mounting the esc on the front lowerlinks and the reciever on the rear steerion servo plate would be better because it would lower the cg

It's just a suggestion. I put my electronics on the back axle. Right next to the rear lockouts. That's as low as it gets.

You can also try looking through the ax-10 pic archive at the top of the ax-10 forum. That should give you plenty of ideas, and maybe some unique ones too.. |

I made a esc mounting plate for front links out of a thick tupperware type lid that i found in orange. I paid 98 cents for 4 of these containers with lids. so you can make one for allot cheaper than buying one and you don't have to wait for it to arrive. I mounted my receiver on the underside of stock battery mounting plate. heres a pic also in case you want more info here is the thread on my build maybe you can get a few ideas from my budget build artr. hope it helps axial artr noob build |

I mounted my esc under the battery table also, and my receiver on the inside side.

i suggest making some upper link mounts from scrap lexan. easy to cut and more than strong enough to support the weight of ur rx and esc the esc in the front and the rx on the back or vice versa. |
