| DX3R & Dig Question
If I wanted aux button C to move my dig servo straight from 4WD to Dig, would I have to change my 3rd channel to a 2 position setting? I like using D and/or E to control it to neutral, but sometimes I want to go straight to dig from 4WD. TIA, Brent |

I dont see why you couldnt set one swith for 3rd channel 3 pos. and another switch to 3rd channel 2 pos. Go to SYSTEM then SWITCH SELECT scroll through and set it like you want.

I have the C button switch setup on the 3rd channel, but it only moves it from 4WD to neutral. I would like for it to move it from 4WD to Dig.

If you increase your EPA (end point adjustment) it should increase the throw to engage on the locking plate.

I don't believe that you can have both 3 position And 4wd/dig. Just click it twice fast!

Changing you end points will not get it done. You can set any button to be 2 position, but it will only go from one position to neutral. I have my "F" as 2 postion, and mine only goes from 4wd to neutral on that switch.

Looks like I misread the thread. I thought he wanted just a 2 position dig. Not a secondary switch that would act as a 2pos switch in addition to his 3 pos setup. Personally I use a 3 pos toggle on the dx7...you can click it to where you want it to be faster then the servo can move it....you may want to look into retrofitting a 3pos toggle instead of a button. |

this is the only thing i don't like about the dx3r. no 2-pos that goes from 4wd to dig (or EP to EP) for the 3-channel. i guess someone can call horizon to confirm this...

I have seen the E set for 3 position and the F set for 2 position. Setting your start at 4wd and adjusting your endpoints from there should work. CATO has his set up like this now. JC |

I was also wanting my dig to go from 4wd to rear lock in one motion but wanted to keep my 3 positions also. I found if I put my a and c trim switches to 3 position or probably any 2 switches, I use both switches at the same time and my dig servo travels from epa to epa without stopping at neutral. It's actually easy to do while driving and will help on rollback while on an incline.
