| sidewinder settings...
found the following sidewinder settings to work pretty well for crawlin: have played with throttle curve, but found default liner settings also work well. currently running: JR XS3 pro radio integy 75T brushed motor. 7 and 8 cell nimh batteries your mileage may vary :P |

That Drag brake setting popped out at me when I saw the pic. What are the other choices that you can choose from? I don't think I've ever changed it with mine.

How does the linear actions affect crawling. My freind helped me program my sidewunder and it is working pretty good, but I thought you wanted a curve on the throttle control and the brake as well.

I'm running an Edge chassis, R2D, punisher shafts, mayhem spyders and plenty of weight in the wheels.. Needless to say mine is pretty heavy. I've got a tekin 55t motor in it right now. But, here are the settings I found work best for mine: (p.s. the throttle curve was done by somebody else and they suggested I try it, so he emailed me his settings file and I just imported it, and changed all the other settings back to where I had them ) |

I wonder if a highTURN motor would have an affect on the Drag Brake setting? Currently w/95%, it does a nice job of dragging my junk down some steep slopes Quote:
throttle/brake curves are definitely something you should experiment with. seems like more often, crawlin over an obstacle works better then using wheel speed :P | ||
